Kitchen AssistantCompensation: $17.00-$22.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.ScheduleFull -Time or Part-TimeSunday through FridayShifts: 7:00 AM-3:00 PM or 12:00 PM-8:00 PMPosition SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and versatile Kitchen Assistant to support the daily operations of a high-volume kitchen. This role assists with food preparation, meal service, cleaning, dishwashing, and inventory while helping maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with food preparation and basic cooking for daily meal serviceSet up food stations and bring out food for meal periodsMonitor food stations during meals and replenish items as neededCheck and stock paper goods before and during meal serviceWash pots, pans, dishes, and kitchen equipmentMaintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen workspaceAssist with post-meal cleanup of the kitchen and dining areasUnload deliveries and safely store food, supplies, and inventoryFollow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standardsWork collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient daily operationsAssist with additional kitchen and food service responsibilities as neededQualificationsPrevious kitchen or food service experience preferredBasic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standardsReliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a teamPositive attitude and willingness to assist wherever neededAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environmentAbility to stand for extended periods and safely lift and move inventory boxes and suppliesBenefitsCompetitive hourly pay based on experienceFull-time and part-time opportunitiesSupportive team environmentOpportunity for long-term growth and advancement
