Service Advisor – Raritan, NJ Salary Range: $20.00 To $35.00 Annually Are you passionate about customer service and thrive in a fast-paced environment? In this role, you'll work closely with customers, technicians, and management to ensure repairs are communicated clearly, completed efficiently, and delivered with exceptional customer satisfaction. Our Service Advisors play a critical role in creating a positive customer experience while helping our service team operate efficiently. Service Advisor Duties Greet customers upon arrival and review warranty details and open repair orders. Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle complaints and service requests. Open repair orders and maintain proactive communication with customers regarding repair status and recommendations. Assist supervisors with estimates while ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures. Conduct vehicle walk-arounds with customers to ensure transparency and build trust. Document warranty information, recalls, and OEM service campaigns accurately and completely. Coordinate with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth transitions between shifts and pending work. Follow company procedures for payment collection and vehicle release. Participate in required training programs to maintain and improve product and service knowledge. Support departmental operations by completing additional duties as assigned by management. Requirements Ability to read and comprehend technical repair information, service bulletins, and manufacturer documentation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset. Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and service management software. Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced service environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
