INFUSION NURSE

Healix Infusion Therapy is seeking a Full Time Infusion Nurse to coordinate and administer patient care services at one of our Neurology Office Infusion Centers located in Loganville, GA!As an Infusion Nurse, you will have the opportunity to provide clinical services in a Neurology Infusion Center. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment delivering infusion therapy to patients using advanced technology in an entrepreneurial setting.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Coordination of new patient admissions with the support of the corporate nursing and business office teams.Access PICC lines for administration of intravenous medication.Preparation of medication to be administered to patients in an infusion center setting.Patient and caregiver education regarding infusion drug therapy information.Clinical monitoring of patient treatment, progression, safety, and outcomes.Communicating care with practice staff, corporate nursing support team, business office, and client services to ensure patients receive the highest level of care.Management of onsite nursing functions including patient scheduling, daily service charting, inventory management, and coordination of follow-up care with physicians.CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Include the following basic performance factors all Healix, Inc. employees are expected to meet.Communicates with clients and fellow employees through written and verbal forms, clearly and timelyInteracts professionally with clients and fellow employeesCooperates with team members to accomplish departmental goalsAccepts and incorporates changes or new ideas into daily workProvides service in a responsive, timely and accurate manner to both clients and fellow employeesUnderstands and adheres to policies and proceduresArrives at work as scheduled and notifies supervisors in a timely manner of any absencesRecognizes priorities and takes action; makes productive use of timeStrives to resolve problems and conflicts on his/her own initiativeAttempts to create new ideas or new procedures working as part of a group or individually.As a part of your job, you will receive protected health information.
