Registered Nurse - SICU

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) with expertise in internal medicine and non-surgical critical care. The ideal candidate will manage complex internal illnesses using advanced medical therapies, ventilators, and continuous drug infusions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with severe infections, organ dysfunction, and respiratory failure.
• Manage ventilators, vasopressor infusions, and other critical therapies according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient status closely, recording vital signs, and adjusting treatments as necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Adhere to all facility protocols and documentation requirements in EPIC EMR.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid New Hampshire RN license or Compact RN license.
• Possess 3+ years of current MICU experience, including vent management.
• Demonstrate recent (within 1 year) experience in Medical Surgical and Stepdown/PCU units.
• Active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Own a reliable vehicle for travel to the facility.
• Ability to work scheduled blocks, including major holidays, with limited RTO requests.
