Research Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Research Associate to support laboratory operations and experimental workflows in a research environment. This position involves hands-on laboratory work, including mammalian cell culture, sample preparation, laboratory automation support, data documentation, and general laboratory maintenance. The ideal candidate will be organized, collaborative, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced setting while following established protocols and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Execute laboratory experiments according to established protocols and support automated workflows utilizing liquid handling and sample processing systems. Perform mammalian cell culture, cell counting, media preparation, and other routine laboratory procedures. Prepare reagents, consumables, and laboratory materials required for experimental activities. Maintain accurate and detailed experimental records using electronic laboratory notebooks and data management systems. Assist with data collection, quality control checks, and organization of experimental results. Troubleshoot and resolve routine laboratory and workflow-related issues. Support day-to-day laboratory operations, including inventory management, equipment maintenance, and laboratory organization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support timely execution of research activities. Adhere to all laboratory safety procedures, operational guidelines, and compliance requirements. Education Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Molecular Biology, Immunology, or a related scientific discipline. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant laboratory experience will also be considered. Required Qualifications Hands-on laboratory experience gained through academic research, internships, industry, or other relevant scientific environments. Knowledge of aseptic techniques and mammalian cell culture practices. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to follow established procedures and maintain accurate documentation. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience operating, maintaining, or supporting laboratory automation systems, including liquid handling platforms. Familiarity with cell-based assays, flow cytometry sample preparation, molecular biology techniques, or related laboratory methods. Experience using electronic laboratory notebooks (ELNs), laboratory information management systems (LIMS), or similar data management platforms. Basic data analysis and visualization skills using tools such as Excel, GraphPad Prism, or comparable software.
