Lead Uniform Room Attendant - Seattle Convention Center

Job Description

The Lead Uniform Room Attendant assists the Uniform Room Supervisor with Uniform Room Operations including but not limited to issuing, collecting, and maintaining Seattle Convention Center uniforms. The Lead Uniform Room Attendant assists with the oversight or delegation of responsibilities within the Uniform Room operation. The Lead Uniform Room Attendant will be required to work well with employees, cleaning service vendors, and management in a professional, cheerful, and organized manner. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $25.00 to $28.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

• Schedule and assign daily work assignments to Uniform Room Attendants and oversee the completion of tasks.

• Assist the Uniform Room Supervisor with: staff training and development; new hire orientations for SCC, Aramark, and vendor employees; corresponding with management teams across multiple departments; record keeping, and light maintenance.

• Assisting Uniform Room Supervisor with maintaining inventory control of items such as uniforms, radios, and other issued materials.

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees and management while issuing and receiving uniforms from staff and service partners.

• Work with vendor service providers to ensure Uniform Room readiness.

• Disperse paychecks and other sensitive items to employees.

• Maintain workspace cleanliness.

• Operate technology, systems, and software such as voicemail systems, copy/scanners, personal computers, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a related role preferred.

• Able to work variable hours, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet event-driven business needs.

• The ideal candidate will be punctual, responsible, and reliable.

• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills and performs tasks accurately with strong attention to detail.

• Highly adaptable with ability to stay organized and plan ahead.

Requires frequent standing and performance of repetitive motions with hands and/or arms.
