This health center is located in Northwestern Arizona and serves a vast area of approximately 4,400 square miles. It offers a range of comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services, including:

• Emergency services
• Dental and ophthalmology services
• Orthopedics
• OB/GYN
• Oral surgery
• Eye surgery
• Urological procedures

Approximately 49% of the surgeries performed are outpatient or ambulatory surgical procedures. The community provides a unique cultural experience, served by a diverse population including Native American tribes such as the Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute, along with Anglo, Hispanic, and African American communities.

Position Summary

The Clinical Nurse is responsible for performing various nursing care procedures that require professional knowledge and an understanding of specific patient conditions and treatments. This role involves completing assignments independently while adhering to guidelines, including physician orders and nursing policies.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing nursing support to individuals of all ages and their families.

Experience Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of experience as a nurse in an acute or sub-acute facility is required.

License and Certification

• A valid, current, full, and unrestricted Nursing License to practice in any state of the United States, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory.
• Current valid certifications:
  
  
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
  • Complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) within six months of hire
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) completion within six months of hire

Orientation

Orientation sessions are conducted every two weeks.
