Job Title: De-Bug Test Technician
Type of Role: Contract to hire
Shift / Hours: 1st Shift, 6am- 2:30pm
Location : Carrollton, TX
Hourly Range: $18.00/hr to $21.00/hr (Depending on experience)
Nature of Duties:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic and mechanical hardware and software issues using schematics, BOMs, and test procedures
- Perform component-level repair and rework on PCBAs, including replacing SMT components and integrated circuits
- Set up, operate, and interpret results from diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other test tools
- Conduct functional testing and validation to ensure products meet performance and quality standards
- Identify root causes of failures and implement effective corrective actions
- Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, test results, and failure analysis data
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve product design, reliability, and manufacturing processes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on recurring defects and process issues
- Ensure compliance with quality control standards and company procedures throughout the repair and testing process
- Communicate technical findings clearly with cross-functional teams including engineering and production
