Respiratory Therapist – Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Days | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across Medical/Surgical and ICU Stepdown units within an approximately 280-bed acute care hospital
• Administer and monitor BiPAP/CPAP therapy and perform Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) analysis
• Float to inpatient units and potentially to other affiliated facilities as needed
• Adhere to weekend and holiday rotation requirements (every other weekend and every other holiday)
• Document patient care accurately using electronic health record systems

Required Qualifications

• Active Indiana Respiratory Therapy License required
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy specialty
• Must reside at least 40 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• EPIC electronic health record experience highly preferred
• Experience in Medical/Surgical and ICU Stepdown respiratory therapy settings
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to change, work resiliently, and collaborate effectively within a team
