BryantCorp, a family-owned developer, owner and operator of hotels throughout the Southeast, is seeking an exceptionally organized and entrepreneurial Assistant General Manager to help establish and grow the truly one-of-a-kind Home2 Suites by Hilton in Wilson, NC. BryantCorp is a growth-oriented company that relies on its team's "ownership" mentality across the entire company. The brand new 116-room hotel is built directly into Wilson's new downtown baseball stadium for the Wilson Warbirds. Wilson and its surrounding communities are leading North Carolina in terms of economic development and the city is poised for outsized growth over the coming years. The new Home2 Suites by Hilton will be a true community asset, and a successful Assistant General Manager will be the operations lead for the hotel, developing trusting relationships through its management of the hotel's team, vendors and guests. Expectations for a BryantCorp Assistant General Manager:Work with General Manager and Director of Sales to build trusting relationships with guests, team members, vendors and community partners.Coordinate with executive housekeeper, front desk, engineering, sales and leadership to optimize operation.Collaborate with BryantCorp off-site team to manage all company administrative processes and ensure exceptional experiences for all guests and groups.Exemplary guest service by demonstrating a personal commitment to making every guest satisfied.Other duties as requested by the General Manager. Like the hotel's GM, a successful Assistant General Manager will be an operational leader at the hotel with the ability to run the property on his or her own. Preferred qualification:A giving spirit, with the genuine desire to improve the lives of others and enhance communities in which they work.Experience in Hilton hotel operations and/or management (Home2 Suites is a plus).Strong administrative, organizational and team management skills.Expertise with hotel reservation and information systems.Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or at least 2-3 years of relevant experience.Benefits:Medical, dental, vision, and life insuranceCompetitive vacation policies401(k) with company matchDiscounted hotel staysTraining and career development opportunitiesBryantCorp provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type based on protected characteristics such as race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
