BusserLocated in the heart of the West Loop, Wicker Park, and River North, Parlor's menu features fresh, local ingredients for brunch, lunch, dinner and late-night service. Our ideal busser will be responsible for resetting tables in a speedy, professional, and effective manner as guests leave the restaurant. Bussers are also responsible for the grooming of the entire restaurant and its perimeters, as well as supporting servers and service staff with refills and clearing tables. We are looking for passionate industry professionals.Responsibilities:Between settings, promptly clean tabletops, chairs and booths.Check floor and clean as required.Reset and arrange tabletopObtain service area assignments at the beginning of each shiftPromptly greet guests as they are seated and bring water to tableClear tables after guests leave.Take tableware to dish room and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in appropriate areas for washingInspect assigned restroom every 15 minutes and clean as neededCommunicate with server and hostess to assure efficient seating, table utilization and customer serviceStock, set up, and clean tables and chairs throughout shiftAssist server as needed with food delivery, especially with large parties and during peak periodsWork with other team members to ensure great guest experienceRequirements:Show flexibility in terms of your schedule to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisorMaintain a high level of personal cleanlinessBe a team player; Help fellow employees when possibleEqual Employment Opportunity Employer: Parlor is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity and gender expression, or any other characteristic protected by law.
