About the Job Hours : Approximately 35-40 hours per week (full time) Schedule : Tuesday – Saturday (closed Sunday & Monday) (Saturday is required) Salary : Starts at $20 per hour based on experience Benefits : Medical and dental plans, plus an employee discount. Responsibilities & Duties Create a welcoming and hospitable environment that ensures an exceptional shopping experience for our valued customers. Furniture Sales! This is a sales based position that requires previous experience in furniture sales and case goods. Utilize your knowledge of furniture and home décor to assist customers in selecting and customizing products, ensuring their satisfaction and boosting sales. Collaborate with management to efficiently handle daily operations at The Shop. Maintain an in-depth understanding of our extensive product catalog. Skills & Requirements A track record of success in retail sales, particularly in the furniture or home furnishings industry – furniture knowledge and sales experience is a must! Exceptional interpersonal skills, top-notch communication, and a passion for providing excellent customer service. Meticulous attention to detail and impeccable organizational abilities. Basic computer skills, with experience using Mac systems. Familiarity with Shopify is a bonus. The ideal candidate will be/have: An understanding of the DSI brand and our aesthetics. A deep-rooted love for the world of home and design. Impeccable taste and style that aligns seamlessly with the DSI brand. A collaborative spirit and a dedication to teamwork, as we leave egos at the door. Self-motivation and a proactive approach to tasks. A sense of humor, a strong work ethic, and a “can-do” attitude. Prior experience in home furnishings or retail sales.
