Project Engineer

Project EngineerTalent Consultant Group is partnered with a civil engineering firm that is looking to add a Project Engineer to their growing team in St. Petersburg, FL.The Project Engineer will support stormwater management studies and the development of construction plans related to drainage, transportation, and utility improvements. This position would be responsible for stormwater management, drainage design, hydrologic, hydraulic and water quality modeling and environmental permitting with water management districts and local municipality standards, criteria and accepted practices.Qualifications:Accredited bachelor's degree in civil engineering and 2+ years' experience in the fieldAn active, good-standing EIT registration within the field of civil engineeringStrong understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D platformsA working knowledge of GIS ESRI platformsExperience in hydrologic & hydraulic modeling software applications such as ICPR, Hec Ras or SWMMAn intermediate level of technical writing and communication skillsMust have a valid FL driver's license with acceptable driving record per company minimum standards.Preferred Qualifications:Accredited master's in civil engineeringPreparing environmental permit application packagesStrong understanding of watershed modeling conceptsAdvanced knowledge of ArcGISExperience with floodplain studies and FEMA
