The position requires weekdays only, with no holidays, weekends, nights or calls. SurgCenter of Plano was established by clinical personnel to offer safe, high‑quality surgical care. The center is accredited by the Joint Commission, licensed by the state of Texas, and is part of Medicare. Responsibilities Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, evaluating their condition continuously and ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy. Assist physicians in the procedure rooms with tasks such as conscious sedation and utilization of sterile techniques as required. Offer comprehensive care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care to prepare for discharge. Focus on patient and family communication and discharge planning. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing. Active RN license in the state. BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred. Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
