Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period

Assignment Details
Unit size: 32 beds
Daily census: ~32

Requirements
- Minimum: 1 year recent Med-Surg experience required
- Required: BCLS
- Preferred: CPI
- Core clinical skills: med-surg competencies including IV start/maintenance, central/PICC care, wound/ostomy/drain care, chest tube care, feeding-tube management, oxygen/HFNC/non-invasive airway support, suctioning, PCA, phlebotomy, blood product administration, basic dialysis support management, insulin/heparin administration

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide care for adult and geriatric patients in a medical-surgical unit.
- Monitor patient progress and document changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Assist in the management of medical equipment and devices.
- Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.

Compliance / Notes
- Pending NM/Compact license accepted (must be obtained prior to start)
- Travelers expected to float to like units as needed
- Once contract is signed, traveler expected to complete required labs within 48 business hours
- On-site orientation modules must be completed during orientation
