Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Execute a variety of ultrasound examinations, covering abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, clearly explaining procedures with empathy and care
• Work closely with radiologists and referring clinicians to ensure the highest quality of diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Document procedures accurately and maintain complete patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging and adhere to best practices

Educational Background

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferred: Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Required Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
