Radiologic Technologist - Orthopedic Urgent Care

The Radiologic Technologist operates X‑ray equipment to assist in the diagnoses of various diseases, ailments and injuries. This is a part-time, 0.9 FTE Radiologic Technologist role. Three–12 hour shifts per week including an every other weekend rotation. This role will provide services at our Eden Prairie, Woodlake (Woodbury) and Eagan Campuses with the ability to float to other Summit campuses as needed. Qualified candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and must have current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration. Summit's hiring range for this position is $32.60 to $40.75 per hour. The hired candidate may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, differentials and/or deferred compensation. Qualifications Education Associates of Radiologic Technology (required) Experience 1 year: Work experience: One to three years of experience as X‑ray technologist, preferably in physician practice environment. Associate's degree in radiological technology from accredited radiography program. American Registry of Radiologic Technologist registration required. (required) Licenses & Certifications Basic Life Support (required) Reg Radiology Tech (required) Skills Fluent in digital radiology technology. Possess advanced computer skills, including working knowledge of multiple computer applications and equipment, such as PACS, Digitizer, Outlook, EMR and EPM. Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization skills. Knowledge of HIPAA and other privacy regulations. Experience in medical office and exam room settings. Frequent exposure to communicable diseases. Frequent contact with variety of people. Exposure to equipment noise for extended periods of time.
