PRN Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location: Florida Oncology and Hematology Pay Range: $27.74 - $51.51 This PRN position supports Florida Oncology and Hematology in Clearwater, FL. Position Summary Administer radiopharmaceuticals or radiation to patients to detect diseases, using radiation producing and detective equipment, under direction of physician ensuring viable images are obtained. Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures. Performs all duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures. Qualifications Education High school education required. Certifications/Licenses State CRT, Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) license. ARRT Certification preferred. BLS certification required. Previous Experience 1 year of experience as PET Technologist preferred. Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment with demonstrated ability to juggle competing priorities and demands from a variety of stakeholders and sites. Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook required. OncoEMR experience preferred. Travel : Less than 25% Standard Core Workdays/Hours : Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
