Nutritionist (WIC Program) NHCAC
North Hudson Community Action Corportation
Under the supervision of the Chief Nutritionist, the Nutritionist provides nutrition assessments, counseling, and food package prescriptions for women, infants, and children participating in the WIC Program, in accordance with organizational and New Jersey Department of Health policies and procedures. The Nutritionist serves as a Competent Professional Authority (CPA), determines nutritional risk, provides nutrition and breastfeeding counseling, assigns appropriate food packages, and makes referrals to health and social services as needed. Education Requirements: Master’s degree in Nutrition, Public Health Nutrition, Community Nutrition, Dietetics, Nutritional Science, or related field, or Registered Dietitian; OR Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics with DPD Verification Statement (Plan IV or V). Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 #J-18808-Ljbffr
