AWS Data Engineer

Job Title- AWS Data Engineer
Location- Mclean, VA (may have to go onsite after 2-3 months)
Duration- Long term

Job Description:-

Experience of software engineering in python/Scala/Java/C++
Experience and expertise in using Spark in combination with pySpark, Scala or Java, either on-premise or Cloud
Expert knowledge of distributed computing, RDD and optimization techniques
Experience with NoSQL and streaming platforms, e.g. Kafka, MongoDB, Neo4j is must
Experience with relational database and SQL (Postgres, Redshift, Snowflake, SQL Server) - is a plus
Experience with developing software products for cloud platform, e.g. AWS.
Experience in creating and customizing Reports and Dashboards
Experience working on Large enterprise level data sets and ETL
Experience in Data analysis, data consolidation and normalization
Proficient with APIs and Integrations
Comfortable on Linux for both development and operations
Experience with cloud native services such as AWS EMR
Experience in containerization and orchestration - Docker, lambda, S3 - is a must
Experience with advanced analytics and modern machine learning techniques is a plus
