Job Type:  Full-Time | Monday–Friday | No Late Nights

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $135,000+ (negotiable based on experience)
• $15,000 Sign-On Bonus
• Production Bonus: 3% on generated revenue exceeding $600,000, with bonus potential scaling as revenue increases

Position Overview:
We are seeking a patient-focused Associate Optometrist who values clinical quality, autonomy, and meaningful patient relationships.

You’ll practice with advanced diagnostic technology alongside a highly trained support staff that handles pre-testing and administrative responsibilities—allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional patient care while maintaining an efficient schedule and strong patient flow.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Care

• Perform comprehensive eye exams including refraction, binocular vision, and ocular health assessments
• Diagnose, treat, and manage ocular disease within scope of practice
• Prescribe glasses, contact lenses, and medications as needed
• Co-manage LASIK, cataract, glaucoma, and specialty care cases
• Educate patients regarding diagnosis, treatment, and preventative eye health

Patient Experience

• Build strong, long-term patient relationships
• Deliver attentive, personalized care
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
• Ensure continuity of care through follow-ups and communication

Collaboration & Growth

• Work closely with technicians and support staff to maintain efficient clinic flow
• Participate in community outreach and practice growth initiatives
• Build relationships with referral partners and local providers
• Contribute ideas to improve processes and patient experience

What We’re Looking For:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
• Active Michigan optometry license (or ability to obtain)
• Strong clinical and diagnostic abilities
• Excellent communication and patient relationship skills
• Team-oriented mindset
• Desire to practice in a relationship-driven private practice setting
