Pharmacist

We are currently seeking a pharmacist to join our Inpatient Pharmacy team. This position is casual, no benefits, day/evening shifts and every fourth weekend. The pharmacist will be responsible for the filling and dispensing of medication orders including the proper handling, usage, and storage of drugs in the pharmacy. They will maintain standards set by the department and translate policies and procedures into the daily operation of the pharmacy. The pharmacist will act as an information resource to patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy and drug-related information and literature. They will also plan, organize, and supervise the work schedule of supportive personnel and pharmacists, as required. The pharmacist will support the values of the organization by demonstrating personal responsibility, respect for self and others, innovation through teamwork, dedication to caring, and excellence in customer service.
