Seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to provide essential support for students across several school buildings near Berne, IN. This contract, part-time opportunity involves working 2-3 days per week, assisting a diverse student caseload in a collaborative educational setting. You'll work closely with a dedicated on-site PTA and help make a meaningful difference in the lives of students requiring physical therapy services.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Physical Therapist license in Indiana
• Experience working in school settings preferred
• Ability to manage and prioritize a caseload of 20-25 students
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families
• Flexibility to travel between 6 buildings as needed
• Team-oriented mindset and commitment to student-centered care

Role Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students’ physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct physical therapy services per IEP requirements
• Work in coordination with the on-site PTA and other school professionals
• Document progress, maintain records, and participate in eligibility/IEP meetings
• Provide consultative guidance to school staff and assist in adapting classroom activities
• Ensure therapy goals support educational achievement and physical development
