Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Position Overview Full‑time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at ABC (Action Behavior Centers) located in Melissa, TX 75454. The schedule is Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm (predictable daytime hours with no nights). Optional Saturdays may be required based on patient needs. Immediate openings are available. Certification Required Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification is mandatory. What You’ll Be Doing Follow individualized treatment plans and collect session data. Help children learn through play, movement, reading, games, and hands‑on activities. Maintain an active, engaging presence throughout therapy sessions. Keep the therapy environment clean, organized, and safe. Collaborate with a supportive team focused on child development. Watch a Behavior Technician in action: YouTube link . Job Requirements At least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Comfortable with seated, standing, crouching, and frequent floor movement. Maintain an active pace while working with young children. Reliability and punctuality. Willingness to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire. Team mindset: may occasionally provide support to nearby ABC clinics. Compensation & Benefits High School / Associate’s Degree: $17 – $23.50 per hour. Bachelor’s Degree: $18 – $25.50 per hour. Master’s Degree: $19 – $27 per hour.
