Construction Project Manager - Diverse Chicagoland Projects

Position Overview We are seeking a PM who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys taking ownership of projects from preconstruction through completion. This individual will play a key role in managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and stakeholder relationships while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Responsibilities Manage all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasting reports Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication among all stakeholders Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation Manage subcontractor procurement, buyout, and performance Track project costs, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and pay applications Identify and mitigate project risks before they impact schedule or budget Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards Support estimating and preconstruction efforts when required Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to repeat business opportunities Qualifications 5–10 years of construction project management experience Experience with commercial, healthcare, industrial, food manufacturing, or institutional projects preferred Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving What You'll Find Here Opportunity to work on diverse and technically challenging projects Exposure to diverse projects from concept through completion Stable pipeline of repeat-client work Collaborative, team oriented culture with direct access to company leadership Clear career growth path and advancement opportunities Comprehensive benefits package, 20 days PTO, and professional development support #J-18808-Ljbffr Navigate Search
