KEY SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Flavor Maestro: Supervise and assist in food preparation ensuring high standards of quality taste and presentation across all outlets while maintaining safety expectations.
• Kitchen Captain: Lead motivate coach and discipline kitchen personnel to ensure efficient and high-quality food preparation and service.
• Culinary Number Cruncher: Manage food costs budgets and maximize cost/production ratios to optimize financial performance.
• Sanitation Superstar: Maintain cleanliness sanitation and safety in the kitchen work and storage areas adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Quick-Fix Guru: Anticipate and address issues proactively to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Communication Connoisseur: Clearly convey information and resolve concerns from co-workers and guests effectively.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• A two-year college degree with at least three years of related experience or a four-year college degree with a minimum of one year of related experience is preferred.
• Five years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field including required supervisory experience.
• Ability to handle stressful high-pressure situations while maintaining composure and objectivity.
• Must meet certification requirements which may include Food Handlers Alcohol Awareness CPR and First Aid.

Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort & Spa provides an upscale Southwestern workplace set on 80 acres in the Sonoran Desert. Originally built as a haciendastyle home in 1912 the resort blends historic character with modern amenities. Team members support 241 guest rooms each with a private balcony and desert views along with onsite dining the Sonoran Spa three pools hot tubs and horsebackaccessible nature paths. Located near Sabino Canyon Saguaro National Park and Tucson Mall the property attracts both leisure guests and outdoor enthusiasts.
