About the job you're considering We are seeking an experienced and collaborative IT Project Manager to lead complex, high‑impact initiatives from concept through implementation. Your role Lead end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale, cross‑functional IT projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned initiatives, promoting clarity, accountability, and effective collaboration. Define project scope, objectives, requirements, and key deliverables. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans—including schedules, estimates, resource plans, risk logs, and status reports. Conduct project meetings and ensure consistent tracking, reporting, and communication across stakeholders. Review and validate project deliverables to ensure quality, regulatory compliance, and alignment with standards. Manage vendor engagements, including task coordination, integration oversight, and deliverable reviews. Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks, issues, and scope changes. Oversee project financials, ensuring visibility into budgeting, forecasting, and performance against plan. Provide timely updates and facilitate efficient decision‑making through clear, concise reporting. Capture lessons learned, promote continuous improvement, and obtain final project approvals. Your skills and experience Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or related discipline. 8+ years of experience in project management, business systems analysis, or software development. Proven track record delivering cross‑functional IT programs or projects within a corporate environment. Strong leadership skills with experience working in a global matrix organization. Solid understanding of software development practices, methodologies, tools, and quality processes. Familiarity with technologies supporting Privacy, Compliance, Legal systems, and website development. Hands‑on experience using Agile project management tools such as Jira and Smartsheet for backlog management, reporting, and tracking. Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in creating dashboards, metrics, and reports in Excel and related tools Preferred skills Experience working with validated software in medical, pharmaceutical, or life sciences environments. Strong proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions, reporting, and dashboards). The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $111,000 - $156,000 Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law. The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
