Legal Collections Specialist

Job Description

Paramount Legal is recruiting for an experienced Legal Collections Specialist to join a well-established law firm!

The ideal candidate will have experience managing high-volume accounts receivable, working closely with attorneys and clients to resolve outstanding balances, and maintaining strong client relationships.

\n

\n

Responsibilities Include:

\n

\n
• Manage accounts receivable and collections for assigned attorneys.
\n
• Work closely with attorneys and clients to resolve outstanding balances and payment issues.
\n
• Monitor aging reports and identify accounts requiring additional attention.
\n
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and outstanding balances.
\n
• Negotiate payment arrangements with appropriate approvals.
\n
• Maintain accurate records of collection activities and communications.
\n
• Provide regular updates to attorneys and management regarding collection efforts.
\n

Qualifications:

\n

\n
• 3+ years of high-volume collections experience, preferably within a large law firm.
\n
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Ability to build relationships with attorneys, clients, and firm personnel.
\n
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
\n
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
\n
• Experience with legal billing and collections software preferred.
\n
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
\n
