About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief People Officer to spearhead the strategic and operational facets of human resources. The successful candidate will be instrumental in cultivating a culture that values innovation, inclusion, and growth, while also ensuring that HR policies are in line with the company's commitment to equity and social justice. Key responsibilities for this role include overseeing all core HR operations, collaborating with executive and legal teams on workplace policies and labor relations, and leading the development of initiatives that promote staff appreciation, wellness, diversity, and inclusion. The Chief People Officer will also be tasked with driving workforce planning, talent management, and establishing metrics to evaluate HR effectiveness in alignment with organizational goals. Applicants for the Chief People Officer position at the company should have a minimum of 10-15 years' of HR leadership experience, with a strong preference for those with a proven track record in public sector or government roles. A Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or a related field is required, with a Master's degree being preferred. The role demands a comprehensive knowledge of HR compliance, policies, and employment laws, as well as strong expertise in employee relations, benefits administration, and talent management. Proficiency in HR technologies and systems is essential, along with exceptional leadership and communication skills to engage diverse teams. The Chief People Officer will also be expected to foster a culture of continuous learning and development throughout the organization.
