We offer competitive pay and excellent benefits for our Team Members.Primary Responsibilities:Responsible for programming, troubleshooting, debugging and preparation of welding robots for productionTeach and train robot operators as well as programmersConstantly improve cycle time and throughput by adjusting robot path and functionDiagnose and correct machine issuesEnsure all jobsite safety procedures and standards are metObserve and implement company housekeeping, safety, and quality policiesMinimum Qualifications:Able to read, write, communicate in EnglishAbility to read and interpret welding blueprintsAbility to pass print reading, measurement, and fraction/decimal conversion testsDemonstrate high level of mechanical aptitude (non-traditional backgrounds welcome)Excellent computer skillsAble to travel for machine-specific training with robotic companyKnowledge and experience using the GMAW processesWork Environment:The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g. working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.Physical Demands:The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors of remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.U-Haul is an equal opportunity employer.
