Human Resource Assistant

We are seeking an HR Assistant to support employee and manager inquiries, HR transactions, and day-to-day HR operations. This role provides frontline support, maintains employee records, and helps ensure timely and accurate resolution of HR-related requests within a service-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Respond to employee and manager inquiries through phone, chat, and other support channels. Process HR transactions and maintain accurate employee records in HR systems. Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employee lifecycle processes. Document and track cases within case management systems. Escalate complex issues to appropriate HR team members. Support service levels, quality standards, and process improvement initiatives. Maintain confidentiality and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. Collaborate with HR team members and stakeholders to support employee service delivery. Required Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1+ year of experience in Human Resources, Recruiting, HR Administration, Talent Acquisition, or a related function. Relevant HR internships may be considered. Fluency in English and Portuguese. Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail. Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting HR operations, employee services, or shared services functions. Familiarity with HRIS, workforce management, timekeeping, or case management systems. Experience handling employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, payroll, or employee lifecycle activities.
