Tesoro Group is seeking an experience Community Manager to join (1) of our long-term client's properties in Bartlett, IL (60010). The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in property management, experience with lease-ups and has worked with market rate properties, delinquencies, & renewals. This role requires bilingual in English and Spanish, Entrata experience is required. This role is contracted and expected to last roughly 60-90 days in length but could become permanent for the right candidate.

Pay Rate: $33-$34/hour DOQ.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8AM – 5PM.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise maintenance staff, including Maintenance Supervisor, and ensure that the procedures and maintenance manual are followed, including OSHA guidelines.
• Train and be responsible for work performed by all staff members.
• Have a thorough knowledge of the area where the Community is located, including schools, shopping, hospitals, etc., and all competitor properties. Be an active member of the business community by attending meetings of the Apartment Association, Chamber of Commerce, and any other appropriate organizations in your community.
• Maximize gross rent collection and minimize vacancy loss, delinquency and expenses.
• Establish an annual budget for your community with the assistance of the Regional Manager. Once completed this budget will be submitted to the corporate office for approval.
• Ensure that all maintenance requests are handled on an immediate one-call basis, if possible, and the residents are notified if parts must be ordered causing delay. Review outstanding work orders daily and ensure work orders are closed timely.
• Reviews all residential leases and related forms and administer all legal rights of the property, including appearing in court for all eviction proceedings.

Position Requirements:

• 2 years' experience in property management within Multi-family Housing & Fair housing knowledge.
• Entrata experience is highly preferred but not required for this role.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Excel.
• Be able to successfully complete a background check before employment.
