About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 10 weeks Shift: Day and Mid Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Preferred 2 years, will accept 1.5 years from a similar facility License: Pending license accepted Certifications: TNCC, ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Level 1 Trauma experience required Description: These needs are specifically for winter coverage for one 10-week contract only. Local radius restrictions are waived for this assignment. Must start by 12/18/2026. No holiday requests for time off are permitted. No more than 5 days of requested time off allowed. Must work every other weekend. Every RN will cross-train and float to other campuses and observation units. Average patient ratios are 1:6 for both days and nights. Preferred years of experience is 2 years, but will consider candidates with 1.5 years of relevant experience. First-time travelers are accepted. All travelers must have the necessary certifications. Travelers will not be required to be on-call. Travelers will float within their scope to meet facility needs. Block scheduling is being considered for accommodation. Weekend call-out policies are in place. If a traveler RN calls out on their scheduled weekend shift, the shift will be rescheduled for a make-up on another weekend within the next six weeks. If the traveler contacts management immediately after the missed shift, they may request the specific day they would like to perform the make-up shift. Travelers can work the make-up shift as overtime if approved. If a traveler calls out for their make-up shift, it will be automatically rescheduled for the following weekend with a warning for time and attendance issues. This is a short-term acute care facility and a Level 1 Trauma Center. Daily census averages 120, with approximately 300 visits per day. Interdisciplinary support includes various services for comprehensive patient care. Additional unit information specifies that there are specialized units and support staff available. Modules for onboarding and annual training are required for compliance.
