Embedded Linux SW Developer (m/f/d) (Freelancer) – Location: Remote
Developing embedded Linux software with C/C++ and Javascript for our pine.Box and customer projects
Adaptation and optimization of our embedded Linux platform
Creating software architecture and software design
Documentation of the software you create
Creating software for verification and validation of our products
Contact person for our customers as a technical specialist
You have completed a technical university degree, e.g. computer science, electrical engineering and information technology or comparable
You enjoy working with embedded systems
You have profound knowledge and experience in the use of C/C++ in the embedded area
You are familiar with the application of software quality measures such as unit tests
You have the ability to communicate in German and English
Thesis (Bachelor/Master) in the field of communication protocols – Location: Markdorf
You will develop an IEC 61131-9 (brand name IO-Link ®) device based on an eval board which will be integrated into our test system.
Programming is done in C on a microcontroller
Creation of documentation for the software you have developed
You are studying in the technical field, e.g. computer science, electrical engineering and information technology or similar
You enjoy working with embedded systems
You have knowledge of C in the embedded area
You are able to communicate in German and English
The work can be performed as a Bachelor's thesis (3 months) or with extended scope as a Master's thesis (6 months).
