Mechanical Assembler

As a Mechanical Assembler, you will contribute to the assembly, testing, and inspection of aerospace components while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform precision assembly of small aerospace components, subassemblies, and finished units
• Utilize a variety of hand and power tools to fit, align, adjust, and secure components according to engineering specifications and production standards
• Interpret and follow detailed work instructions, technical drawings, and process documentation to ensure accurate and consistent builds
• Conduct in-process inspections and basic testing to verify parts meet quality, tolerance, and performance requirements
• Accurately complete required production and quality documentation, ensuring traceability and compliance with industry standards
• Clean, prepare, and maintain parts, tools, and workstations to support a safe, organized, and efficient production environment
• Collaborate with team members, leads, and quality personnel to meet daily production goals and maintain high quality standards
• Identify and report any defects, inconsistencies, or process issues to support continuous improvement efforts

Skills & Experience

• Previous mechanical or electrical assembly experience preferred; entry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply
• Hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring equipment in a manufacturing or shop environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, or technical instructions is highly preferred, but not required
• Strong manual dexterity with the ability to handle small, detailed components with precision
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow within a manufacturing setting
• Proficient computer skills

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Collins, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
