AI Product Engineer

Shaping the AI experience for users, the full-time remote AI Product Engineer will define behavior for Dia, implement prompt and code changes, and oversee evaluations to ensure quality and efficiency in AI product development. Key responsibilities Shape Dia's AI experience by determining user behavior and implementing necessary changes Ship updates weekly by actively engaging with prompts, code, and data Systematically improve product quality through measurable evaluations and internal tooling development Required qualifications 4+ years of experience in product, design, or related roles with hands-on product development experience Ability to think in systems, breaking down ambiguous problems into measurable components Daily use of AI tools such as Codex, Claude Code, or Cursor, with a strong understanding of tooling choices Desire to work as an individual contributor, actively engaging in coding and product iterations Willingness to work within North American time zones with at least 4 hours of overlap with Eastern Time Zone
