- Conduct meaningful assessments to understand patients’ social, emotional, and environmental needs
- Provide immediate crisis intervention in high-stress, time-sensitive situations
- Develop and coordinate personalized care and discharge plans
- Support patients and families in coping with illness, trauma, and hospitalization
- Act as an advocate, ensuring patients receive the resources and support they deserve
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care
- Work at the frontline of care where your impact is immediate and visible
- Be part of a collaborative, mission-driven emergency department team
- Use both your clinical expertise and human connection skills every single day
- No two days are the same-your work will challenge and inspire you
- Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited program
- 2-4 years of experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or related field
- Licensed Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of South Carolina
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification with American Heart Association required or must obtain upon hire
