Group Fitness Instructor (part-time and substitute)

Do you have a passion for movement, wellbeing, and building community? HealthFitness is looking for Group Exercise Instructors to bring energy and inspiration to our client sites throughout Rhode Island – including Cranston, Narragansett, East Providence, Providence, Lincoln, Warwick, and more! In this position you will provide fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members participating in the program such as dance, kickboxing, stretch, boot camp, circuit, etc. This is a position teaching regularly scheduled weekly classes and potentially working on an as-needed basis depending on scheduling. Other possible locations include Lincoln, Providence, Cranston, Narragansett, Warwick, and more! Classes take place Monday - Friday between the hours of 9:00AM - 3:00PM Minimum Requirements Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required. Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required. 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred. Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required. Compensation: $30.00/hr - $50.00/hr. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
