ADON Assistant Director of Nursing Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the overall nursing operations of the facility

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the nursing team to ensure high-quality patient care

• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies, procedures, and programs

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and effective care delivery

• Conduct daily rounds to monitor and improve patient care

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and compliance with regulatory requirements

• Foster open communication among staff, residents, and families to ensure a positive and supportive environment

ADON Assistant Director of Nursing Requirements:

• Prior experience in a nursing leadership role

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York

• Proven track record of improving patient outcomes and enhancing staff satisfaction

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
