Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and crafting unique care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently (as per your credentials)
• Guiding patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and illness management
• Prescribing medications and treatments as per scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing chronic care effectively
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic, seamless patient care
• Documenting all encounters accurately within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Credentials Required

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Florida
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a relevant specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain these within 90 days)
