Seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced Emergency Department. Candidates must have extensive travel experience and be confident caring for patients across a wide range of emergency conditions.

Responsibilities:

Assess, triage, and provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency treatments
Monitor and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR
Ensure compliance with emergency care protocols and patient safety standards

Requirements:

Active New York RN License
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience
Minimum 2 years of travel nursing experience (renewals preferred)
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
Previous employees of St. Mary's Healthcare are not eligible for this assignment

Assignment Details:

Travel contract
48 hours per week (48-hour guaranteed)
Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
17-bed Emergency Department
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4
Block scheduling is not guaranteed
