Director, Global Procurement - Marketing Operations

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Director to join our team. This role is responsible for regional category management and sourcing leadership of Patient Access, Market Access, Contract Sales Organization (CSO), and Commercial/Promotional Print within Marketing Procurement, focusing on a global mindset through collaboration with enterprise-wide business partners as well as regional and/or local sourcing professionals in a matrix organization. The candidate will work with regional and local teams to support development and implementation of a sourcing strategy at a global level, leveraging a Supply Strategy Council framework, while leading key initiatives. Responsibilities Participate and lead global, regional and local teams to develop strategic source plans and ensure alignment on marketing services categories. Collaborate with business partners to define and meet business requirements, set profit plan savings targets, act as a trusted advisor, and challenge the status‑quo when appropriate. Build relationships with global, international and enterprise suppliers, manage key supplier performance, ensure supplier inclusion in RFPs and contracts, and support major regional supplier relationships. Strategy Creation : Define high‑level objectives, engage senior stakeholders, conduct workshops, gather and analyze data. Strategy Execution : Develop and execute RFIs/RFPs, reengineer processes, and drive tactical plans linked to sourcing strategy. Operations : Perform daily/weekly procurement activities such as contract review, PO issue resolution, vendor creation, supplier issue resolution, technology/process execution, and data analysis. Supplier Relationship Management : Design and implement actions, participate in supplier forums, negotiate contracts, and analyze data to improve supplier relationships. Required Experience and Skills Minimum of 5 years in strategic procurement, Patient Access, Market Access, Contract Sales Organization (CSO), and Commercial/Promotional Print marketing or related roles. Strong experience in product access working with various operational and commercial models. Strong analytical skills. In‑depth subject‑matter expertise in patient and market access agencies or sourcing field and current knowledge of industry trends and best practices. Proven success in developing and executing global or regional patient and market access sourcing strategies. Strong communications and influencing skills at senior levels. Proven ability to collaborate with a wide variety of individuals, including senior management, stakeholders, team members, other departments and suppliers. Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment (preferred). Preferred Experience and Skills Negotiating with market and patient access agencies of record. Advanced Microsoft Office suite experience. Knowledge of procurement sourcing tools. Knowledge of analytic dashboards. Education Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, procurement, business administration. Benefits and Compensation Salary range: $156,900.00 – $247,000.00. Eligible for annual bonus and long‑term incentive, if applicable.
