Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our interdisciplinary team at Absolut Care of Aurora Park in East Aurora, New York. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, individualized care to our residents, helping them to overcome communication and swallowing disorders. Responsibilities:
Evaluate and assess the communication and swallowing abilities of our residents, using evidence-based practices to develop personalized treatment plans
Implement and deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services, including individual and group sessions, to address cognitive, linguistic, and swallowing deficits
Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to care
Monitor and record treatment progress, adjusting plans as needed to optimize outcomes
Maintain accurate and detailed records of services provided, including progress notes, treatment plans, and billing documentation
Participate in interprofessional education and training activities to enhance practice and promote evidence-based care
