Shipping Loader - 1st Shift

We are looking for a highly skilled and reliable Shipping Loader to join our warehouse team. This role primarily involves operating a tow motor for the majority of the workday to manage loading and shipping tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in labeling orders with pro numbers, managing LTL and truckload shipments, and using RF scanners for efficient inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a tow motor throughout the day to load and unload materials and shipments safely and efficiently.
• Label and organize orders with pro numbers for accurate tracking and shipping.
• Prepare and handle LTL (Less Than Truckload) and truckload shipments according to company and client specifications.
• Use RF scanners to track inventory and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Inspect shipments for accuracy and report any discrepancies or damages.
• Work closely with shipping and warehouse teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols.
• Perform regular tow motor inspections and report any maintenance needs.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating a tow motor in a high-volume environment (certification preferred).
• Familiarity with labeling orders using pro numbers, and handling LTL and truckload shipments.
• Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory and shipping tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Physical ability to lift, move, and position heavy items as required.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
