Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Control in Jackson MS you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location you will manage entry points verify credentials issue badges monitor access activity and report security-related concerns. You will maintain a professional presence that helps deter incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees contractors visitors and drivers while carrying out site-specific procedures access-control policies and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials maintaining visitor and contractor logs and directing authorized personnel and vehicles in accordance with site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas access points parking areas and the perimeter reporting unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents alarms access-control issues and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as required.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports incident reports and access-control documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
