Production Technician I/II/III - Days

AstraZeneca's Frederick Manufacturing Center seeks Production Technicians to operate downstream processing equipment in biologic manufacturing. This 12-hour rotating day shift role involves equipment operation, solution preparation, cGMP documentation, and continuous improvement activities in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Operate downstream processing equipment per SOPs, MPRs, and SPRs in cGMP compliance
Perform solution preparation, purification, formulation, and supporting production activities
Execute cGMP documentation and utilize Manufacturing Execution Systems
Train under qualified technicians on equipment operation and seek qualification
Contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives on production floor

Requirements

High school diploma or bachelor's degree depending on level and experience
0–3 years production or bioprocessing experience based on technician level
Proficiency with computer systems and manufacturing execution systems
Ability to comply with cGMP standards and follow written procedures
Prior aseptic and bioprocessing equipment experience for Tech II/III roles
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal oversight for Tech III

Compensation: $56,072–$84,108 annually
