Responsibilities

• Identify medical issues for ER patients, determine severity, and initiate immediate stabilization to minimize risk and improve outcomes
• Perform initial assessment, triage, and ongoing monitoring of vital signs and patient status
• Administer medications, assist with procedures, and collaborate with the ED team to provide rapid, evidence-based care
• Coordinate diagnostic tests (labs, imaging) and interpret results in the context of patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatments, and patient responses
• Ensure patient safety, provide patient and family education, and assist with disposition decisions

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Oklahoma or a valid multi-state compact license
• Minimum 2 years ER experience (required)
• Recent traveler experience (preferred)
• Certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS, ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA); TNCC preferred
• Local candidates may be considered at a reduced rate
• Ability to work the night shift in a high-volume ER setting
• Supervisory references: provide 2 supervisory references within the last two years
• Education: appropriate nursing education for RN practice
