Pediatric Dental Assistant

Chairside Assisting: Support the dentist during exams and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Patient Comfort & Safety: Monitor vital signs and guide young patients through their appointments with a gentle touch.
Clinical Support: Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms, instruments, and materials following strict infection control and aseptic protocols.
Diagnostics: Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to safety standards and HIPAA regulations.
Documentation: Maintain accurate patient histories and treatment plans using Open Dental software.
Education: Empower children and parents with knowledge on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-op instructions.

full-time $25 - $31 per hour

The Vibe: Patient, energetic, and truly enjoys working with children.
Experience: Previous experience in pediatric or general dentistry is preferred.
Tech Skills: Proficiency in Open Dental (or similar dental software) and medical imaging.
Knowledge: Solid understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control, and general dentistry principles (including endo/prosthodontics).
Communication: Ability to explain dental concepts in "kid-friendly" language to both children and their guardians.
