Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify clients' mental health and addiction issues, establishing immediate and longitudinal treatment needs.

  • Develop and implement customized, evidence-based treatment plans aimed at addressing individual client goals and improving overall mental health.

  • Provide individual, couples, and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities based on the unique needs of each client.

  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team comprising other mental health professionals, case managers, and support staff to deliver holistic care.

  • Document client interactions and treatment progress meticulously, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with all relevant legal and ethical guidelines.

  • Participate in regular clinical supervision, peer consultations, and professional development activities to enhance your therapeutic skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients battling substance misuse disorders and other co-occurring mental health issues. You will work closely with individuals from diverse backgrounds and varying levels of need, fostering an inclusive atmosphere that respects each client's unique experiences and challenges. Your ability to connect with clients empathetically and culturally sensitively will be vital for effective intervention and recovery.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field is required for this position.

  • An active and independent Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in Washington State is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
