As an Inventory Control Specialist, you'll be responsible for maintaining and monitoring day-to-day inventory transactions, including receiving, storing, issuing, and auditing inventory. You'll support purchasing, shipping, and receiving functions while helping ensure inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.In this role, you will:Maintain accurate inventory records through physical counts and cycle countsMonitor and improve inventory management proceduresImplement and maintain Kanban processes for critical raw materials, finished goods, and work in progress (WIP)Work closely with department managers to determine inventory requirementsMonitor actual and forecasted customer demand using ERP/MRP systemsRecommend and maintain min/max inventory levels and Kanban targetsPrepare inventory reports and recommendations for managementAssist with receiving, labeling, and properly storing incoming inventoryMonitor vendor-managed inventory (VMI) for proper allocation and part mixPull inventory for sales orders and stage materials for shippingSupport packaging and shipping activities as neededProcess returns in a timely mannerCross-train with purchasing and shipping/receiving teamsSupport Lean manufacturing initiatives including Kaizen, 5S, and RIE activitiesWe're seeking a detail-oriented inventory professional with strong analytical skills and experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.Associate of Applied Science degree preferredMinimum of one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to read and interpret documents including bills of materialsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)Strong time management and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively across departmentsAbility to work on-site at the Henderson facilityThis is a full-time, non-exempt position working Monday through Friday.
